THE ASSOCIATION SOURCE'S RICKY ATKINS NAMED KIWANIAN OF THE YEAR

October 7, 2011---The Association Source, LLC, is pleased to announce that its Vice President Ricky Atkins was named "Kiwanian of the Year" last week by the Gold Coast Knights Kiwanis.  The outgoing club president honored Atkins with the award for his leadership and outstanding service to the community over the past year.

The presentation was made during the club's annual installation of officers.  Atkins was also inducted as the club's President-Elect for 2011-12.

Ricky joined the organization several years ago as part of The Association Source's mission to give back to the community in which it operates.  "I am pleasantly surprised and honored by this recognition," said Atkins.  I feel privileged every day to be able to serve the children and charities of our community."

Projects this year have included providing dinners to the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House, visiting the sick and elderly during the holidays at local nursing homes, helping to build a new kitchen at the local boys' home, and more.

"Our team is committed to giving back to the community," said The Association Source President Jody Rosen Atkins.  "We are very proud of Ricky's service to those less fortunate, and especially of this recent honor."
